Summertime is HOT! Teens are BORED! What can a teen do to have a little fun and not get into trouble this summer in the Arlington-Mansfield area? Take a look at some ideas to keep your teen entertained and busy!
Amusement/Activity Parks
Feeling adventurous? Six Flags Over Texas has games, rides, food, and fun for teens to let out some energy. Urban Air has trampolines, rock climbing, Skyrider, ropes course, and more to help teens to get moving! Teens can try out their (mini) golf swing at Putt-Putt Fun Center. Or they can bowl and play arcade games at Alley Cats. Does your teen love to rock climb, then Dyno-Rock Climbing would be a fun way to climb AND work off energy!
Water Parks
Hot days = Water parks excitement! Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is a great adventure for teens to get wet and stay out of the hot sun! Or Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has the fun in the sun with slides, a wave pool, and more! Hawaiian Falls in Mansfield also has water, slides, and fun with friends with a tropical theme! For a little less money, the Arlington public pools are open throughout the week and weekends for teens to invite a friend and swim in the pools!
Reading and Books
Teens love to read? Check out the Arlington-Mansfield Public Libraries. They have various events happening every month to help blast the boredom away! Or take a trip to Barnes and Noble and help foster a love of reading with a good book and a tasty beverage at the Cafe!
Art Time
Art-loving teen? Check out the Arlington Museum of Art. **Bonus: For any Disney fans, the museum has a new exhibit called “Disney Art from Private Collections”. Or get creative at Painting with a Twist to show off their artistic side! Try Creative Hands to relax and paint their favorite ceramic piece.

Movies and Popcorn to beat the heat! Entertain the teens by watching a movie at Studio Movie Grill, LOOK Dine-in, AMC, or Cinemark. Don’t forget the popcorn!
